# Virtual accounts and IBANs

> Dedicated account numbers for NGN, GBP and EUR.

A virtual account is an account number you hand to a payer. Anything transferred to
it is attributed to you.

## Permanent vs dynamic

## Currencies

| NGN corporate | `POST /collection/nuban-create-corporate` |
| GBP individual | `POST /collection/iban-create-individual-usd` |
| EUR individual | `POST /collection/iban-create-individual-euro` |

Retrieve an existing one with `POST /merchant/retrieve-iban`.

> Always show the payer the `bank_name` returned with the account. For NGN, the
> issuing partner bank changes from time to time, and a stale hardcoded bank name is
> the most common cause of abandoned transfers.
